bum.bum.bum

bumming around is the best thing i am so good at. since i took a leave from the office because of my face warts removal, i stayed home... for 4days straight, i glued myself on tv, ate, slept. played with the kids. the latter was the best. i have 2 nieces and 1 nephew who are so smart. just like uncle. the kids and i slept together, i listened to their funny stories. they're so innocent. when i talk , they listen. they had so many questions and what's more... they speak good english. just like my clients in the office. the kids have american twang. NOSEBLEED!.. spending precious time with them is something i enjoyed to the fullest.

jade (12). was already ladylike, she's an achiever, a consistent honor student, cheerleader, loves reading books and watching mtv, (vj mica is their first cousin) she hates being bored. boys go crazy for her.

lara (9), on the other hand is so witty. always on the go.she's always the class "muse". effortlessly pretty (like her auntie, perhaps?). she's fast learner however, hates school. not into homeworks but come examination time.. she passes with flying colors!

toby (6), so handsome. so cute. i'd like to think he looks like me..that little boy is the alter ego of "spiderman". he thinks and feels like spidey. but when i caught a real spider and handed it to him, he ran away. ahahaha... kids!

my vacation was well spent. with them around, i was able to relax. i was able to enjoy cheap thrills.i wanna thank their mom & dad for bringing them into this world!

hey gary..bro...good job...!...good job...!

face the problem

Webster describes warts as small, hard, round skin growths caused primarily by a virus. . they come in different sizes. there are flat and smooth warts as well as elevated warts, some are firm and rise from the surrounding skin.

i had also been a victim of warts. had some on my face. i didn't care much about them before ... until i noticed they grew in numbers and they hit me right near the eye area. i totally hated the sight.hence i started surfing the internet to check on how to get rid of those. there are some home remedies, over the counter medications... eventually, i realized... what the heck? this is my face. i shouldn't take any chances.so what i did next was went clinic hopping. until i finally decided to have CAUTERIZATION (burning with heat/lasers).. Godiva Skin Care is where i put my trust into.

i took a leave from the office. i stayed at home for one whole week.did nothing.when i came back to work, i felt rejuvenated.

SPA in the city

Wednesday, August 13, 2008 0 comments

everyday, after office hours, i go straightway to gold's gym. even on my restdays i still drop by at the gym. i lift weights MWF and cardio exercise TTHS. i have been used to it. it has already been part of my system. i love the feeling of sweating out. i even love the feeling of soreness on my body...muscle pain & strain. there are times when i intentionally overdo the exercises. strange but true. when i torture my body, it means i have discovered a new spa in the city which i wanna try.

i love spa and massage.full body massage relaxes me. i have tried different types of massage...SWEDISH, a classic full body massage which helps soothe muscles & reduces body tension....SHIATSU a Japanese-style based on the concept of acupuncture resulting in balanced Chi (life force energy). AROMATHERAPY, a gentle massage using aromatic oils. THAI, a massage which is yoga-like, focuses on gentle assisted stretching to help release blocked energy and tension. TRADITIONAL HILOT, a Filipino-style therapeutic massage combines the use of virgin coconut oil with medium to deep pressure strokes to relieve deep-rooted stress. the massage, plus the ambience made me stress free.

i am always in search for the new venue of relaxation. AND..the best so far is..(drum roll, please..) the blind massuer. i was so relieved. i enjoyed a one hour massage from a visually impaired man. i would say it's the best massage i've ever had. Blind people have a built-in capacity to visualize and all they have to do is touch the person's body and they'll know what is ailing that person. what's more... it's the cheapest. i had the best massage for only P350.00

Body Massage by the beach at Puerto Galera.

Wooo..hoo..!!!

pale body... not IN

i love the sun. i enjoy the feel of it on my skin.the funny thing is..i'm not fair skinned.so you can just imagine how i look like everytime i expose myself under the sun.i still remember how my mom will tell me not to go out of the house when the sun is up because she might not recognize me when i get back home. BEFORE...only fair skinned people are considered good looking. like it or not, we filipinos think and feel that way.

NEVERTHELESS... there's a certain tv ads which gave way for people to think that having a tan is a status symbol and is associated with being a member of the upper classes.the commercial was about a group of friends sharing their experiences on their latest travel. however, there was someone who was fair skinned... speechless. not much to share.the person began to feel insecured, nothing to talk about because surely...no travel or out of town gimiks lately.it shows on the color of her skin...Bravo to that advertisement. i so love it...it opened the eyes of many. that ads simply put ..is..to show that one is wealthy enough to be able to spend time working on their tan.

i love the sun so much and i understand that overexposure can do harm.that's why i equipped myself with the best sunscreen.there's only one brand for me.it's the VMV Hypoallergenics.i particularly use "ID". Id Anti-acne,anti ageing face, chest, back and body exfoliating lotion..Id Facial cleanser and shaving cream,Id soap with apricot and salycylic acid,Id clarifying and firming toner and Id skin buffing pumice and salicylic facial cleanser and Id sweat acne and overall antibacterial monolaurin gel..plus...the extreme protection for exteme condition ..Armada Sport!

i have been a VMV user for 2 years now.my skin love it..i bring my ID everytime i travel. i dont leave home without my ID..i no longer worry even if i overexpose myself under the heat of the sun.... i am protected....i am skintelligent and has skinthusiasm!

NOTE: this is not a paid advertisment of VMV Hypoallergenics. But if VMV will read this, and think that I should be compensated for doing it... I can accept compensation of any kind. (let's say free facial treatment, at least) hehehe.

drink.pee.repeat!

Tuesday, August 5, 2008 1 comments

it has always been a part of pinoy's life to drink.. and the call center life takes part in that habit. our company makes sure that each group should allow time to have team building every month... an allotted budget is given for the said team building. every agent has his own share... complete attendance is expected.. this is the time for camaraderie.. to build strong relationship among the group..

CCA's favorite team building activity is ...DATE WITH SAN MIGUEL! in other words... drinking beer! this activity is believed to be great in relieving stress... "the pinoy's weakness is beer, and his next weakness is the next beer" virgilio malang.

whenever i drink. i make sure that i only have a little cut over the head... i never wanna be all fawked up..meaning really drunk, intoxicated, high, totally obliterated

our team has gone to so many bars/joints/resto to drink beer...we always had fun. HOWEVER, i could say that it's not the beer which brings good time in the group. it's each other's company which brings fun! that's why we always raise our bottles and say "cheers!".

let's drink to that!

eversince i discovered my capacity to carry out the fitness activity without fatigue, i became an addict. a certified fitness addict....but the one thing i like most about working out is... it also helps me SLEEP BETTER!

having much adrenaline to utilize....i tried the now so famous sports popularized by pacquaio...boxing! it promotes self-discipline, self-esteem and create skills in self-defense... PLUS...each session, one can burn up to 1000 calories for about an hour. Not bad at all! that is the exact reason why a lot of people now are into this type of sport.

it is very exciting. a totally different experience.it gives an adrenaline rush.the session consists of skipping rope, abdominal exercises, shadow boxing, speed ball, hitting the mitts and the bag.WHEW...!

if you are focused. ,hard-working,determined, have an insatiable hunger to improve yourself physically and continue to evolve in every aspect of your life. BOXING is for you!

so what are you waiting for? go punch!

(thanks JAM for influencing me...you rock!)

..hard habit to break..

Sunday, July 27, 2008 0 comments

whoever says " i cant find the time" is absolutely just making an excuse.. you dont find time..you make it...

when i was just a newbie as a CCA, and in the graveyard shift, i felt so harrassed, haggard and abused. after work, all i really wanted to do was stay in bed.rest.sleep..dream.like a baby... i was detached from everything around me. for 3 straight months, i was like living in another planet. i dont exercise.. i dont sweat. always in an airconditioned room. sun didnt shine on me . all i really wanted to do was.. again.. stay in bed.rest.sleep.dream like a baby... no time for anything. 5 days of work. ..2 days off....it's called rest days. literally & fuguratively.

HOWEVER, no matter how much i spend time staying in bed, the more i feel so tired & exhausted..i came across a signage.. change your body.change your life.. that's when i realized i need to be active and on the go.

i need that change in my lifestyle... but how can i change? i dont have time... i'm always busy at work, and since work is tiring, i cant find time to do other things. better rest & relax..

but, then i realized... i used to be so active. i used to work out in a gym... then i stood up, look myself in the mirror.. shock was i.. i gained weight.. flabs & saggy. this is so not good.thus, the decision.

i need to bring back the old me. Gold's Gym became the answer. immediately i registered. started buying mens' health mags. there i learned that physical, emotional, and mental fitness are very important. I may be physically fit but may still be unhealthy and will easily get sick . working out in a gym prevents/treats many chronic health conditions brought on by unhealthy lifestyle or aging. To stay healthy it's important to participate in physical activity...

with conviction... i religiously work out at gold's. it has become a habit. i do more on cardio exercises though. true enough,i experience the change in my body. i was rejuvenated. became active. went back to earth.

i am "fit " again. i found the time. i'm in control.
